Effective from 30 September 2026. This notice explains how personal data are processed when you use the online shops www.kaito.hu and www.kaito.eu, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Hungarian Information Act (Act CXII of 2011).

Without the data required for the order, no contract can be concluded. We do not use automated decision-making with legal effects (profiling).
3. Processors and recipients
- Shopify International Limited (Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) – shop platform, hosting, checkout, payment processing (Shopify Payments and its financial partners).
- GLS General Logistics Systems Hungary Kft. – parcel delivery in Hungary (name, address, phone number, e-mail address).
- United Parcel Service (UPS) – international parcel delivery (name, address, phone number, e-mail address).
- Zoho Corporation B.V. (Netherlands) – invoicing and accounting software.
- Google Ireland Limited – e-mail service.
- Consentmo (“Ultimate GDPR EU Cookie Banner” app) – cookie consent management.
- Other Shopify apps used in the shop (translation, shipping rate calculation), only to the extent necessary for their function.
- Our accountant and, where required by law, authorities (e.g. the Hungarian tax authority NAV).
Some processors may also process data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in Canada or the USA). Such transfers are based on an adequacy decision (e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. Your rights
- access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20);
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21);
- withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

5. Right to lodge a complaint

6. Data security
The shop uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Card data are processed exclusively by the payment provider; we have no access to them. Only authorised staff have access to personal data.
